grenzen / ...all About Territories... is a multichannel radiophonic installation staged in Nieuw Statenzijl, a Dutch border village where land, water and nations, meet. It explores the concept of borders—both geographical and conceptual—through a sonic landscape that captures the complex relationships between human and ecological territories. Using a network of radio transmitters and layered soundscapes, the installation immerses listeners in the fluidity of boundaries, highlighting how borders, though often invisible, shape identities, cultures, and ecosystems. It creates a liminal space that speaks to the instability and artificiality of boundaries.

The work offers a meditation on how borders affect not only the social but also the natural worlds, prompting reflection on the delicate balance between separation and connection in spaces where boundaries dissolve as easily as they are drawn.
